This shirt was inspired by my great grandmother who was thought to have died from a “nervous breakdown.” She was a young woman with small children, and some people suspected she had suffered from post-partum depression. Her daughter, my grandmother, was the most inspiring person of my life, despite the tragic loss of her mother when she was only 7 years old. This shirt is a tribute to those who have lost their lives to mental illness. A portion of the proceeds will servce to combat stigma, promote awareness and advocate for others like Magna.
